Fleet Coordinator role at Severn Trent


Overview

Join to apply for the Fleet Coordinator role at Severn Trent Water. Our Transport team supports a fleet of over 2,900 vehicles and provides safe and efficient transport for equipment, resources, and teams across the region.

We’re looking for a Fleet Coordinator to join our team in Coventry who will be responsible for day-to-day workshop support. You don’t need transport/fleet experience, but administration experience is important.


Responsibilities

* Arrange workshops with internal customers to deliver a high level of customer service and support vehicle replacements.
* Manage customer accounts with external suppliers to ensure excellent delivery, specification, and service.
* Produce data and reports to monitor and improve vehicle downtime; support KPI checks; order PPE for colleagues; respond to emails including workshop requests.
* Develop strong relationships with customers by responding to their requirements and seeking opportunities to enhance the relationship.
* Be based at the headquarter office in Coventry (Monday to Friday) with travel to meetings and workshops as planned.


What You’ll Bring To The Role

* An administrative background with experience in responding to emails, ordering PPE, and handling data and reports.
* Transport/fleet experience is a bonus but not essential.
* Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with your team and the wider Transport team, and communicating with internal customers to plan workshops.
* Ability to handle difficult conversations with confidence and maintain a positive, caring attitude.
