Home Care Assistant
Based in Newcastle
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour + paid mileage at 30p per mile and travel time at £12.71 per hour
Hours: 7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm, 4/3 shift pattern with alternate weekends
Areas Covered: NE1, NE2, NE4, NE6
No experience necessary – paid training and induction ensure confidence in the role.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is ideal but not essential.

Your Role as a Home Care Assistant
As a Home Care Assistant, you’ll support individuals in Newcastle to live independently in the comfort of their own homes. Every visit is an opportunity to make someone’s day brighter and yours more fulfilling.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with personal care routines (washing, dressing, toileting)
* Supporting medication and meal preparation
* Helping with light domestic tasks and grocery needs
* Providing companionship and emotional support
Qualifications
* Passionate about helping others and committed to delivering high-quality care and support
* Reliable and honest team player with a positive attitude
* Strong communication skills both verbal and written
* No experience necessary; we have had people from hospitality, retail, and customer service backgrounds
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
