Role Summary
The PEI (Pressure Equipment Inspection) Engineer – Client Representative provides technical oversight and assurance for pressure equipment inspection activities performed by third-party contractors. The role ensures compliance with client standards, regulatory requirements, and integrity management objectives, acting as the client's technical authority for inspection-related decisions. This role is based at the St. Fergus Gas Plant.
Responsibilities
RBI focal team leader and primary point of contact for RBI-related activities.
Review WSE (Written Scheme of Examination) before final approval.
Review and approve ECH (Examination Condition History).
Review and approve EAR (Examination Analysis Report).
Review CAIR's (Corrective Action Inspection Recommendation) and provide technical assessment with recommended corrective actions.
Oversee FSR (Field Service Report) eMOC/Deviation inspection actions.
Support Fit4 initiatives and continuous improvement actions.
Provide technical support for projects and TAR (Turnaround) activities.
Participate in LOD1 audits and internal audits (supporting UKAS accreditation).
Participate in third-party company audits.
Conduct VSL (Visual Site Leadership) tours to ensure compliance and integrity.
Perform technical review of CTRs (Cost Time Resource estimates) for inspection-related work.
Ensure adherence to client standards, regulatory requirements, and inspection best practices.
