We're recruiting for a Rural Surveyor / Land Agent to join a growing and highly regarded Infrastructure & Renewables team based in Morpeth. The Role

As a Rural Surveyor / Land Agent, you will:

• Provide professional land and property advice on behalf of a wide range of clients
• Deliver infrastructure, utilities, and renewable energy projects to a consistently high standard
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, landowners, occupiers, contractors, and consultants
• Lead negotiations and manage stakeholder expectations throughout project lifecycles
• Support property and asset management activities, including long-term improvement strategies
• Manage capital and operational budgets and investment programmes
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the North East region
• Support and mentor junior colleagues and trainees within the team
• Maintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with quality management procedures
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time and within budget

Rural Surveyor / Land Agent Requirements

• MRICS or AssocRICS qualification preferred
• Candidates working towards professional qualifications will also be considered
• Previous experience within rural surveying, land agency, infrastructure, utilities, or renewables advantageous
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Experience using GIS platforms
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project is desirable but not essential
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to client service and business development
