All about the role:
Partner closely with the Head of D2C CA West to shape, coordinate and execute the Direct‑to‑Consumer (D2C) strategy for the UK & Ireland. You will drive commercial performance, optimise the consumer journey and support the successful delivery of local initiatives across multiple digital touchpoints.
This is a high‑impact, cross-functional role where you will collaborate with Marketing, Logistics, Demand Planning, Finance, Customer Care and various D2C specialists to ensure excellence in execution. The role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys bringing clarity and structure across multiple ongoing initiatives.
What you'll do:
* Support and execute the UK & Ireland D2C commercial strategy to achieve key performance targets.
* Manage and optimise the commercial performance of brand websites and secondary sales channels, including marketplaces, affiliates and brand partnerships.
* Act as a key commercial partner to D2C specialists and cross-functional teams, providing alignment, focus and insights (no direct line management).
* Collaborate closely with Marketing and Web teams to deliver excellence in merchandising, campaigns and conversion optimisation.
* Coordinate with external partners such as paid media and creative agencies, ensuring high-quality briefing, review and optimisation.
* Work with Product Management and Category teams to implement promotional plans and category growth initiatives.
* Drive digital marketing performance, including SEO, SEM, paid media, social and display.
* Analyse performance and consumer data to identify optimisation opportunities and improve the end‑to‑end consumer experience.
* Prepare and facilitate weekly and monthly commercial reviews for local, regional and central stakeholders.
* Partner with Demand Planning to secure stock availability and ensure accurate forecasting.
* Manage and coordinate multiple projects, from planning to execution, ensuring timelines and requirements are met.
* Identify risks, anticipate challenges and support effective decision-making in high-paced or high-pressure situations.
* Stay updated on e-commerce and D2C trends, continuously testing new ideas and improving ways of working.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in e-commerce, D2C or consumer goods.
* Strong experience in cross-functional, matrixed organisations.
* Solid understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce environments and online merchandising.
* Strong knowledge of SEO/SEM and paid media.
* Excellent analytical skills; experience with Google Analytics, Power BI or Content Square is a plus.
* Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
* Experience managing multiple projects or programs concurrently.
* Structured, organised and comfortable in a fast-changing environment.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
* Data-driven, proactive and resilient.
* Comfortable working in an international, multicultural environment.
