A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well established and growing business in Hull.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and takes pride in delivering first class customer service. You will be responsible for supporting customers, coordinating orders, resolving issues proactively and building strong working relationships across the business.
This role would suit someone with previous experience in customer service, transport, logistics or supply chain, who is highly organised, confident communicating with customers and able to work effectively in a busy environment.
The Role
You will play a key part in ensuring customers receive a high standard of service from initial order through to completion. The position involves a mix of customer communication, coordination and problem solving, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being at the centre of a busy operation.
Key responsibilities include
- Supporting customers and acting as a key point of contact
- Handling, processing and monitoring customer orders on a daily basis
- Proactively updating customers on progress, issues and delays
- Investigating problems and finding practical, effective solutions
- Monitoring additional charges where relevant
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Building strong working relationships and maintaining a high level of service throughout

- Strong communication skills and the confidence to deal with customers professionally
- A proactive and solutions focused approach
- Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at pace
