Job Title: Automotive Vehicle Technician

Salary: £32,000 per year + Bonuses

Our client, a well-established and reputable automotive service centre, is currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical background who thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on a range of vehicles.
2. Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and MOT preparation.
3. Utilise diagnostic equipment effectively to ensure accurate fault-finding.
4. Maintain detailed service and repair records.
5. Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer and safety standards.
6. Liaise with service advisors and customers when required.
Candidate Requirements:
7. NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent (Level 2 with strong experience may be considered).
8. Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Diagnostic Technician.
9. Excellent knowledge of automotive systems and components.
10. Full UK driving licence (essential).
11. MOT Tester certification is an advantage but not essential.
12. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
