Location: East Midlands Rate: £40-£50 per hour (Umbrella PAYE) Contract: Initial 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension Exciting Opportunity for a Road Safety Engineer in the East Midlands An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Road Safety Engineer to join a busy Local Authority highways team. This role will focus on the design, development, and delivery of road safety improvement schemes, helping to reduce collisions and improve safety for all road users across the network. The successful candidate will combine technical road safety engineering expertise with the ability to undertake Road Safety Audits and provide professional advice on highway safety matters. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and elected members to develop and deliver effective road safety solutions.
