About this opportunity
We’re looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our Community Equipment Service within Adult SocialCare.
Westmorland and Furness Council's Community Equipment Service works with partner organisations like the NHS to deliver, install and maintain equipment which helps people to stay active, comfortable and independent in their own homes.
As an Operations Coordinator you will be the first point of contact for the service and will be responsible for planning and scheduling delivery, collection and maintenance activities across the Westmorland and Furness area.
The role will also include working with managers to develop and design relevant management information to be used within the service to support operational planning.
Who we are looking for…
We are looking for someone customer focused who enjoys working in a busy fast paced environment. You will have excellent communication skills and will be able work within internal teams, external partners and service users to ensure service delivery.
The ability to plan, prioritise and work to tight deadlines is essential. You must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team to manage conflicting priorities and pressures.
Knowledge of scheduling and planning systems is desirable as well as experience of working with digital and computerised systems.
