Learning Support Assistant – Chelmsford
Pay: £13.67 - £15 per day (paid weekly, every Friday)

We’re looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide one-to-one support for a child with special educational needs (SEN) in a primary school in Chelmsford. This is a full-time role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The role at a glance:
* Provide one-to-one support to a child with SEN, helping them engage in learning and class activities.
* Support the child’s emotional and social development, ensuring they feel safe, included, and valued.
* Adapt learning materials and approaches under the guidance of the class teacher.
* Encourage independence by building communication and problem-solving skills.
* Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and wider staff to track progress and share feedback.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience working with children (especially with SEN) is desirable but not essential.
* A patient, caring, and approachable personality that builds trust quickly.
* Strong communication skills for working with children, teachers, and parents.
* A proactive, adaptable attitude and genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
* A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or similar) is desirable but not essential.
