We are proud to be rated OUTSTANDING by Ofsted and have received the NMT Community Nursery of the Year Award. Our beautiful converted house provides a warm, home-like environment at the heart of our community, accommodating up to 37 children across three welcoming rooms.
At our nursery, children's emotional well-being is our top priority, and we are open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Flexibility in working varied shift patterns is essential.

Room Leader Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences and resources tailored to children's age and development.
* Support the holistic development of children, focusing on their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs.
* Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and children's learning journals.
* Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
* Implement an effective key person approach to help children form secure attachments and identify staff training needs.
* Maintain accurate records related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor at all times.
* Understand and meet the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS.
Room Leader Requirements and Skills:
* Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
* Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years - Essential
* Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position - Desirable
* Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
* Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
* Fluency in written and spoken English - Essential
