Groundwork Wales is seeking a part-time Project Officer (30 hours over 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday).
1. Support the development and delivery of community nature-based programmes.
2. Maintain effective relationships with partner organisations.
3. Identify and recruit groups, individuals, and partners to participate in programme activities.
4. Supervise participants to develop environmental conservation and interpersonal skills.
5. Deliver accredited courses and provide 1:1 mentoring sessions.
6. Record progress towards targets and assist with report preparation for funding bodies and marketing.
7. Assist with identifying and applying for additional funding opportunities.
Are you someone with skills in community-based conservation, biodiversity, and developing skills in nature, who is interested in supporting people, families, and communities to conserve, restore, and protect green and blue spaces?
* A full current driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
* Familiarity with community work practices and related legislation.
* Commitment to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
* Adherence to GDPR regulations regarding personal information.
* Commitment to ensuring the health and safety of all involved in Groundwork Wales' work.
