We are supporting a secondary SEN school in Wallington that is seeking an experienced Maths Teacher to work with students aged 11–16 with EHCPs. Pupils present primarily with SEMH needs, alongside ASD and ADHD. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through structured and supportive Maths teaching.
Role Overview:
Teach Maths across KS3–KS4, adapting lessons for SEN learners
Support students with SEMH to build confidence and engagement
Deliver structured lessons with clear routines and expectations
Work alongside support staff to manage behaviour and support progress
Help prepare students for positive academic outcomes
About You:
QTS is desirable but not essential
Experience teaching Maths in SEN, PRU, or alternative provision settings (desirable)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Patient, consistent, and supportive teaching style
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
