What you’ll be doing: • Developing common process materialand data standards for a scheduling capability center supportingthe Maritime Sector inBAE • Governance and assurance analysisand lessons learned capture/actions across theportfolio • Operational scheduling support intoportfolios/programmes andprojects • Provide expert planning advice tosenior programme managers and directors, supporting decision-makingwith data-driveninsights • Support to BAE common schedulingtoolset strategy
• Ensure compliance with businessunit planning policies and industry best practices in schedulingand project control
• Development and delivery ofscheduling training to PM&C individuals and Delivery Functions(Engineering/Manufacturing/Procurement)
• Portfolio analysis of performancetrend and what-ifscenarios.
• SME Scheduling support intoPM&C early careers and schedulingSME’s Your skills andexperience:
Essentials:
• Extensive experience inplanning and scheduling within complex engineering, manufacturing,defence projects or equivalentindustries
• Proficiency inscheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Open Plan, MicrosoftProject, orequivalent • Awareness of EarnedValue Management (EVM), governance frameworks, and projectperformance tracking
• Comfortable withfrequent/fortnightly travel to various Maritime & Land sitesthroughout the UK
• Stakeholder Managementskills with senior leaders and customers
Desirable:
• Understanding of riskmanagement and change control processes in projectscheduling

The Maritime & LandCentral Project Function:
You will be an SMEwithin this role providing hands-on support to Project ControlsCapability Director.
This role is crucial inensuring efficient project execution, working closely withstakeholders to provide good practice guidance on schedules,managing resources, and drive performance improvements whileensuring adherence to business unitgoals.
