An opportunity has arisen within Sunderland City Council for the role of Maintenance Operative Technical (Plumber).
The role will involve working in domestic, industrial, and commercial buildings carrying out a range of trade activities to deliver installation, repairs, and maintenance functions.
Working alongside colleagues within the Repairs and Maintenance Team, you will ensure that work is delivered to a high standard and meets our quality and performance expectations.
Moving forward, our focus is on improving, developing, and growing the department to ensure we are providing a sustainable service to all customers. This role plays a key part in driving this ambition forward.
To succeed in this role, applicants must have relevant trade qualifications. Gas qualifications are an advantage, and experience of commercial catering is also desired.
Experience of working within a busy operational repairs and maintenance department is also a desirable advantage for this role.
A full driving license will be required to carry out this role, and a works vehicle will be allocated to all successful candidates upon appointment.
