Medical communications: entry-level training programme – allegro.WRITE
What is allegro.WRITE?

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated aspiring writers to join Inizio Medical through our award-winning training and development programme, allegro.WRITE.
About allegro.WRITE
This is a comprehensive, year-long programme designed to prepare you for a Medical Writer role at Inizio Medical, which includes three leading medical communications agencies: ApotheCom, Ashfield MedComms, and Nucleus Global. Successful candidates join us as Associate Medical Writers on a full-time basis. The programme features dedicated initial training, followed by team placements across the business to gain diverse, real-world experience. You will work with passionate teams, building confidence and skills alongside industry experts. After 12 months, you will graduate as a fully-fledged Medical Writer and become an integral part of an account team, delivering innovative multichannel medical communications solutions to clients.
What do I need?
Applicants should hold at least a 2:1 degree in a Life Sciences subject. No prior writing experience is required, but excellent written and verbal communication skills, awareness of the pharmaceutical industry, attention to detail, and a passion for learning are essential. You must have the right to work in the UK and be available for training in July and August.
Recruitment process
To apply, submit your CV along with a biography of up to 500 words highlighting your skills, interests, and relevant experience—all combined in one document. Selected candidates will complete a formal writing test. Those demonstrating strong core writing skills will be invited to an in-person Assessment Centre in Macclesfield, which includes group activities, an onsite task, and an interview. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about allegro.WRITE and speak with recent programme graduates. Successful candidates will be notified within 72 hours of the Assessment Centre. The role begins in July 2025, based in Manchester, Macclesfield, London, or Glasgow.
