We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Student Coach to join King’s Reach Education. If you are looking to join a highly dedicated team in a challenging and rewarding environment, we would love to hear from you!

We welcome applicants from an array of backgrounds.

Overview

King’s Reach is a unique Education provision where “Education without limits” is the driving force behind our work with our male students. We seek to understand every student’s story and unlock their unidentified aspirations, passions, and innate potential. We commit to being available, constant and accepting of each of them. We nurture aspiration, self-belief and resilience in our students through our Future Me programme, preparing them for the challenges of adult life in a changing world.

King’s Reach is a unique, one-of-a-kind school based in Maidstone in the heart of Kent providing individually personalised and bespoke learning programmes for boys and young men aged 11– 25 with special educational needs and disabilities. We define ourselves as a community; an authentic family where ‘education without limits’ is the driving force behind our work with children and young people.

Main Responsibilities

Support some of Kent’s most vulnerable students through one-to-one coaching, helping them re-engage with education and develop resilience, aspiration, and self-belief in line with the school’s “Future Me” model.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide daily 1:1 supervision and coaching within a trauma-informed, boundaried approach
* Design and implement highly personalised timetables to support academic and emotional growth
* Serve as advocate, role model, and consistent adult presence
* Manage day-to-day logistics for your student (e.g., transport, food, activities)
* Monitor progress through records, risk assessments, and formal reports
* Collaborate with staff and external professionals
* Contribute to whole-school duties and ongoing training

We are committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS
