Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR (dependent on experience)

A forward-thinking secondary school in Redbridge is looking for an inspiring Head of Psychology to lead and grow a thriving department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Psychology teacher who’s ready to take the next step, or an established Head of Department looking for a new challenge.

What you'll be doing
* Leading and developing the Psychology curriculum across Key Stages 4 and 5
* Driving excellent outcomes and a love of learning within the subject
* Supporting, coaching, and inspiring colleagues within the department
* Monitoring student progress and implementing effective intervention strategies
* Championing innovative teaching and learning practices
* Contributing to the wider life of the school and its continued improvement journey
What we're looking for
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A strong track record of teaching Psychology at GCSE and A-Level
* Experience of curriculum planning and assessment
* The ability to inspire both students and colleagues
* High expectations and a commitment to achieving outstanding outcomes
* Previous leadership experience is desirable, but talented teachers ready for progression are encouraged to apply
