Job Description HR & Practice Manager Overview Are you ready to make a meaningful impact behind the scenes of a dynamic and forward-thinking corporate firm? We are seeking an experienced HR & Practice Manager to join a team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our business. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead the charge in streamlining operations, supporting our people agenda, and ensuring consistency across multiple offices. Healthcare Cash Plan Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR guidance. Coach and support managers through employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolutions. Manage end-to-end recruitment, delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Oversee the monthly payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain up-to-date, confidential, and compliant HR records and reporting. Support the practical delivery of HR and people initiatives. Assist with retention, succession planning, and organisational change. Identify development needs and source valuable training opportunities. Design and deliver internal training sessions. Ensure offices are safe, secure, and welcoming. Manage contractors and suppliers to maintain high standards. Oversee office moves, refurbishments, and space planning. Qualifications Proven experience in practice, office, or operational management within a professional services environment (legal sector experience is a plus). Confident generalist HR knowledge, including hands-on employee relations support. Experience leading or supervising administration/business support teams. Familiarity with managing suppliers, contracts, and office facilities. Solid understanding of workplace health & safety in an office environment. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with colleagues at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).
