An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed RMN or RNLD Nurse to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the Cardiff, Wales area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
The hospital offers high quality assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services for adult males with complex mental health needs and serious mental illnesses including treatment-resistant presentations and challenging behaviour.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse (RMN or RNLD) with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Duties:
1. Working within a team that includes a range of professionals.
2. You will be central to providing high quality care within a locked, specialised mental health medium secure/low secure and rehabilitation and recovery setting.
3. You will work within an identified career development pathway and be expected to complete appropriate competency development portfolio.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. 12 months post qualifying experience.
2. Relevant clinical experience.
3. Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality.
4. Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice.
5. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of GBP34,900 - GBP37,227 per annum. We currently have vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
