The Role
A Manager with an Oracle Controls focus within the team would typically be responsible for driving delivery of all of our Oracle service lines as part of the wider ERP & Business systems team, as well as developing new business from existing clients and new prospects, building deep and enduring relationships with blue chip organisations and establishing themselves as a subject matter expert in this type of assurance and consulting support.
Responsibilities
* Leading multiple Oracle assurance and/or advisory engagements
* Responsibility for the overall output from client engagements.
* Overseeing the scoping, financial management, managing delivery risk, production and review of deliverables.
* Building and managing excellent networks and client relationships (typically at CIO, CFO and Head of Internal Audit level) across a range of organisations.
* Developing internal networks and maintaining excellent relationships with colleagues across KPMG, promoting the ERP & Business Systems capability specifically for Oracle and informing other KPMG services and capability groups of the value it could add to their engagements.
* Be responsible for expanding Oracle services in specific segments, e.g., B2C and B2B, while also working across other sectors.
* Coaching and developing team members, both as Oracle specialists and in broader Technology Risk Consulting areas.
* Leading product development and innovation in Oracle GRC, data, and analytics technologies to keep KPMG’s offerings market leading.
* Identifying and progressing business development opportunities related to Oracle, including responding to RFPs, bid management, proposal writing, and client presentations.
Experience and Background
* Experience in Oracle business analysis and understanding of core financial processes within an Oracle environment.
* Experience with core ERP and/or business systems, including SAP and Oracle.
* Functional experience of Oracle GRC, Financials, and Oracle Release 12; Oracle Fusion experience is advantageous.
* Experience using Oracle data analysis tools.
* Good understanding of technology platforms supporting the industry.
* Ability to present on industry-specific subjects to large groups.
* Understanding of system risks and controls, relating them to the wider business environment.
* Strong client and internal relationship development skills.
* Ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines and budgets.

* Ability to present on technical subjects to large groups.
* Ability to translate Oracle technical data into accessible business language.

Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience in delivering technology-based consulting services related to Oracle implementations.
* Masters degree or MBA preferred.
* Experience in Big 4 or dynamic IT consultancy environments is desirable.
* Significant experience in industry or professional services.
* Oracle Certifications are desirable.
This role requires specific Oracle controls experience, particularly in Oracle process controls and assurance services. The successful candidate will be involved in client-facing activities and client relationship management across various corporate clients.
