This position reports to
Maintenance Manager
Your role and responsibilities
1. Lead and execute mold changing, mixing, or casting processes.
2. Execute all controls and troubleshooting for procedures.
3. Define daily verification for mold, machine or mixing conditions and standards of work.
4. Perform level 1 preventative maintenance as needed on mold or machines.
5. Work closely with Builders and Machine Operators, providing feedback and education to prevent recurrent problems.
6. Propose and develop improvement projects related to mold management, control, and improvement.
7. Troubleshoot issues on presses and mixing machines during production; resolve or escalate as needed.
8. Ensure machine conditions meet standards (cleanliness, proper placement of plastics and cardboard).
9. Support implementation of Technology Projects (CAPEX) and kaizen improvements collaboratively with various departments.
10. Uphold ABB's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for actions and caring for colleagues and the business.
Qualifications for the role
* High school diploma or GED.
* Mechanic Technician with over 2 years' experience with industrial equipment repair.
* Knowledge of hydraulics and control systems.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Analytical, organized, with good planning skills.
* Effective communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
* Must have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
