Forde Recruitments prestigious client, a renowned leader in the automotive industry with nationwide presence, is seeking dedicated Security Staff to join their Vehicle Auction site located in Shotts. Security staff are based in the Gatehouse on site and are responsible for managing security to ensure that all vehicles and visitors are signed in to and out of the site / compound in line with company procedures and policies. This Security role also includes patrolling and monitoring the site and responding to all alarms or concerns. The Security Guards shifts in the gatehouse are 12 hours long so please bear this in mind when applying. You will be required to work both day and night shifts and full training is provided. There is also the opportunity and a client requirement for you to work in the yard and this will assist in maximising your hours and pay, working in the yard will include moving vehicles, preparing for the auction sale days and ensuring that the site is generally well organised along with being clean and tidy. While working on site and to ensure health and safety is adhered to, you will be required to always wear safety boots and a high-visibility vest. Requirements: Valid full driving licence held for a minimum of 5 years Applicants must be over the age of 25 for insurance stipulations. Maximum of 6 points on licence for minor offences (No DR10 endorsements) Good level of physical fitness is necessary to perform the tasks effectively Ability to efficiently manage time and adhere to schedules, contributing to the smooth flow of operations Committed to adhering to safety protocols and wearing the provided safety equipment.
