Business Development Executive (Field-Based / On the Road)
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify, target, and win new business opportunities within an assigned territory
* Visiting customers, prospects, and partners
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with installers, contractors, distributors, and key decision-makers
* Present and demonstrate products and solutions in face-to-face meetings
* Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing
* Deliver against agreed sales targets, KPIs, and growth objectives
* Develop and execute territory sales plans to maximise coverage and revenue
* Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer open days as required
* Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer trends
* Maintain accurate records of visits, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM systems
* Work closely with internal teams (marketing, technical, operations) to support customer needs
* Provide regular sales reports and pipeline updates to management
* Adhoc activities
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in field-based sales or business development
* Strong negotiation, influencing, and closing skills
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities
* Confident working independently and managing own diary
* Results-driven with a commercial mindset
* Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain professional relationships
* Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
* Full UK driving licence (essential)

Package
· Competitive basic salary upto £38,000 (OTE £50,000 – £55,000)
