The successful applicant will provide classroom support to our amazing children, timetabled by our inclusion department. You will be empowered with the knowledge to support the learning of our well-rounded children. We are confident that you will find this a rewarding role where you will work to support the learning of individuals who may or may not present with SEND (Including those with an Education Health Care Plan). You will build on this support and work closely with small groups of children or individuals under the direction of teaching staff. We trust that you feel passionately about supporting children irrespective of their needs or background and as such demonstrate skills that enable our children to be independent learners and overcome their barriers to learning. It’s therefore imperative that you possess a high-level of emotional maturity and resilience and can adapt to changing priorities. The post holder will work closely with all other members of the Inclusion team to promote high standards of inclusion and learning opportunities. As an experienced Teaching Assistant, you will be extremely well organised, IT literate and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. It would be advantageous to be qualified to NVQ3 or equivalent and have experience of supporting students with specific needs.
