Role: Supervising Social Worker - ASYE Applications Welcome
Salary: £31,201 to £33,003 Per Annum Dependent Upon Experience
Benefits: Company Car or £2,000 Car Allowance, 30 days' Annual Leave, Rising to 35 Days upon Length of Service, + Bank Holidays, Life Assurance, Employee Discount Scheme & Medical Cash Plan (All Benefits Pro Rata'd).

We are excited to welcome newly qualified social workers to join our fostering agency. This is an amazing opportunity to join Foster Care Associates. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Newly Qualified Social Worker to join our friendly team to develop and promote fostering services in Yorks & Lincs.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our Yorks & Lincs team are looking to recruit a Supervising Social Worker/ASYE to support our Foster Parents and Young People within Leeds. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting foster parents and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people in foster care.
* Monitoring the continued suitability and competence of foster parents to ensure a safe, healthy, nurturing, and learning environment.
* Ensuring carers understand the fostering task, competencies, standards, and procedures, including complaints and representation.
* Providing and recording regular supervision to foster parents in line with FCA standards.
* Working in partnership with all members of the child's network, contributing to relevant meetings and tasks.
* Ensuring compliance with key documentation for each child and foster parent.
* Attending meetings and providing reports for commissioning teams.
* Promoting participation of children and young people in agency development and community access.
* Participating in 'out of hours' support on a rota basis.
* Occasional home visits and Form F assessments.
YOU MUST HAVE:
* A Social Work qualification
* Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent
* Ability to produce high-standard report writing
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures
* Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including occasional nights away
* Confidence in transporting children and young people in challenging situations
* Full driving license
