An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Paralegal to join my clients team in their Harrogate offices. You will be working alongside the existing Employment Law solicitor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident working in a small team, enjoys taking initiative, and is keen to play a key role in supporting and developing a growing employment law department. You will assist on a broad range of employment matters and be involved in everything from case preparation to client liaison and legal research. This role offers excellent exposure and hands-on experience, with real opportunities to contribute to the growth of the department. The Role: • Supporting the solicitor on employment tribunal claims, including preparing bundles, drafting statements, and liaising with clients, counsel, and third parties • Drafting contracts of employment • Conducting initial client intake and managing basic client queries • Assisting with settlement agreements and redundancy processes • Conducting legal research and keeping internal resources up to date with employment law developments • Managing your own workload of paralegal-level tasks with minimal supervision • Helping to build and maintain the department’s client base, including networking support and contributing to business development activities • General administrative support Skills & Experience: • At least 1-2 years’ experience as a paralegal in an employment law setting • A solid understanding of UK employment law and tribunal processes • Confident working independently and taking ownership of tasks • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Highly organised with strong attention to detail • Comfortable working in a small team and adapting to changing priorities • Experience with case management systems and document formatting tools Benefits: • Close working relationship with a highly experienced employment solicitor • Genuine opportunity to grow with the department • Exposure to a wide range of employment law matters • Supportive and flexible working environment • Competitive salary • 25 days paid holiday, plus Bank Holidays • In addition to the above, the office closes in between Christmas and New Year • Auto enrolment pension scheme Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear Legal and Financial Recruitment Please Note: Due to the number of applications we receive we may be unable to respond to every application directly.
