Overview
Cyient Europe Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with over 8-15 years of expertise in designing and specifying electrical systems and sub-systems for Gas & Steam Turbines. You should have experience with the electrical design of related systems, such as: rotating equipment, colling systems, skids, air intake, etc. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, leveraging your skills in electrical design and your knowledge of Gas Turbines (GT) and Steam Turbines.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabrication manufacturability, layout maintainability, ease of maintenance & accessibility (fasteners, JBs, etc.)
* Sub-System Groups model structure to ensure design is within our design envelope
* No interference with adjacent systems, and verification applicable views shown to clearly define assembly
* Conduit routing, sizes and fitting selection. Conductor and cables size & types. Grounding / Earthing. (per SEI standards)
* Accuracy of drawing notes, and use of Unigraphics (NX) standard note symbols as applicable
* Tagging information per System P&ID, tag size, text size, lock wire, drive screws or double sided tape, per SEI standards
* BoM item.
Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
* Experience: 8-15 years of professional experience in electrical system design and specification.
* Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in GT and Steam Turbine systems, sub-systems and related components.
* Skills: Exceptional ability to interpret technical specifications, design compliant systems, and collaborate across teams.
