Graduate Cover Supervisor

Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

We are seeking a Graduate Cover Supervisor to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in Wigan. This is an excellent opportunity to gain paid classroom experience, develop your leadership skills, and support students across a range of subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Provide support and guidance to students during lessons
Liaise with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning
Build positive relationships with students and staff across the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A degree (any subject) – recent graduates encouraged to apply
An interest in education and a potential future in teaching
Confidence to lead a classroom and manage behaviour
Good communication and organisational skills
Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
