We are looking for a proactive and innovative leader to oversee the financial and IT operations of the Housing service, with a key focus on driving digital advancements and strategic development.
Key responsibilities include:
* Driving the development and monitoring of the HRA Business Plan, ensuring compliance with Welsh Government requirements and enabling informed strategic investment decisions.
* Managing annual revenue and capital budgets, overseeing the rent-setting process in line with WG policy, and leading the rent accounting function, including audit participation and year-end reconciliation.
* Analysing financial performance data, evaluating trends and modelling viability to support risk management around rent, bad debt, and void levels.
The successful candidate will:
* Lead IT research and development across housing service areas, identifying opportunities to enhance customer experience and modernise staff workflows.
* Coordinate procurement and implementation of IT solutions, ensuring the rollout of hardware and software aligns with service needs and supports efficient delivery.
