Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Maternity Cover)
Horley Infant School is seeking a caring and nurturing individual to join our team as a temporary Teaching Assistant, supporting children's learning and development during a maternity leave.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
* Support children's learning through interventions and classroom activities
* Act as a positive role model and guide for children under seven
* Work effectively as part of a team
* Possess good interpersonal skills and knowledge of supporting learning in the infant phase
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Experience of leading interventions, supporting specific needs, or knowledge of the Early Years Framework or KS1 National Curriculum is desirable. We value individuals who believe everyone has the potential to achieve in their own way.

Contract Details
This is a maternity cover contract for approximately 12 months starting September 2025. The position is 27.5 hours per week during term time, with core hours from 8.30am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday.
Salary: £23,576 to £24,690 FTE, pro-rata for part-time hours.
