We are looking for a Fixed Term Airport Transfer Coordinator to join the operations department within Immerse Education - a leading provider of educational experiences to students across the world, comprising residential summer schools and online courses. The post-holder will be assisting in operational delivery for all the residential summer schools as well as recruitment where needed. Your success will be measured by meeting set project deadlines, and ensuring that programmes operate smoothly during the summer period. You will need to be quick on your feet and be able to find solutions for any last-minute changes and/or emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner. The primary area of responsibility for the Operations Coordinator during the summer will be looking after group and private airport transfers that take place each weekend during the summer school operation period. The Operations Coordinator will be the first point of call for participants in case of any last-minute changes to departure or arrival details, border control, as well as the coach and taxi drivers. We are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual who is willing to be an integral part of operational delivery and prepared for hard work. Please note that due to the nature of the role, the busiest operational period for the Operations Coordinator will be during July and August - which will include regular weekend work with days off on weekdays. The Operations Coordinator might also be asked to provide support to a number of teams within the company, including but not limited to Operations, Recruitment, and Bespoke Programmes.
Responsibilities
* Arranging and coordinating group and private airport transfer schedule each weekend over the summer period
* Assisting in the operational and recruitment delivery of residential courses
* Supporting the Summer School Programme Managers and Recruitment Team before and during the operational period
* Supporting with operational delivery in other areas as reasonably requested
* Attending summer school staff training days and helping with centre set-up
* Organising summer school inventory delivery and collection
* Being on-call throughout the summer period
* Being on emergency call during the summer on a rotational basis
Requirements
* Experience Google Sheets/Excel
* Excellent analytical, organisational and time-management skills
* Knowledge of Oxford, Cambridge and London
* Experience working in an operational/academic/programme management role
* Advantageous: Understanding of the collegiate system at Oxford and Cambridge University
* Advantageous: experience coordinating airport transfers at scale
* Advantageous: experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems
