We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bid Manager / Contract Specialist to lead and support the preparation, submission, and negotiation of both simple and complex bids and contracts in the nuclear waste management sector. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of public and private sector procurement processes, contract law, and risk management, with a focus on delivering value and compliance in a highly technical and regulated environment.
Project Delivery & Bids
Lead planning, execution, and submission of bids and proposals, including NEC3/4 contracts.
Oversee project changes, ensuring compliance with contract procedures.
Contract & Compliance
Act as key contact for stakeholders on contract management, variations, and bids.
Ensure legal/regulatory compliance and conduct audits against contractual obligations.
Financial Oversight
Monitor project costs vs budget to support pricing strategies.
Proven track record of delivering a portfolio of projects, bids or proposals,
Knowledge of pre and post-contract Project Management responsibilities, with the ability to deliver effectively to clients.
Radio Chemistry, Nuclear Physics, Nuclear Engineering degree qualifications,
NEC/APM/PRINCE Project Manager Accreditation.
