We're working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Cheshire that is looking to add an Accountant to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with practice experience who enjoys working with a varied portfolio of SME clients and is looking to continue developing their career within a supportive firm.

The Role As an Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting a portfolio of clients across different industries. The role offers a good mix of technical work and client interaction, making it ideal for someone who wants to build their experience and grow within practice.
Key responsibilities:
* Preparation of year-end statutory accounts
* Corporation tax computations
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Self-assessment tax returns
* Supporting clients with day-to-day accounting queries
* Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships
* Assisting senior staff and partners with ad-hoc assignments
