Engineering Supervisor
* £50,000 – £60,000 basic salary DOE
* Pension – 5% employer contribution
* 24 days leave + public holidays
* Relocation support negotiable
* Days – Monday to Friday (early finish on Fridays)

As a result, they are now seeking a talented Engineering Supervisor to lead and coordinate teams across maintenance, tooling, and facilities, providing 24/7 maintenance support.

Key Accountabilities
* Report to the Engineering Manager and oversee daily engineering operations, with a focus on 75% team leadership and 25% hands-on engineering involvement
* Lead a team of 15+ engineers and technicians across days and continental shifts
* Support a 24/5 production environment with 24/7 maintenance coverage
* Manage maintenance, tooling, and facilities to ensure uptime and safety
* Develop team capability through coaching, training, and succession planning
* Track and improve KPIs: breakdowns, maintenance adherence, MTTF, and TPM
* Plan and balance shift patterns across multi-shift patterns and continental teams
* Handle performance, absence, and employee engagement across the team
* Act as liaison between engineering and production, attending daily meetings
* Drive continuous improvement and sustainability, ensuring all business accreditations are maintained
Experience Required:
* Proven experience supervising or managing a maintenance engineering department (e.g. Engineering Supervisor)
* Strong track record in leading and developing engineering/maintenance teams
* Time-served apprentice or degree-qualified in a relevant discipline – Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing etc
* Background in fast-paced, mid to high-volume manufacturing with a solid understanding of manufacturing principles
* Hands-on experience with TPM and multi-skilled across disciplines, with strong knowledge of facilities infrastructure (e.g. compressors, water cooling systems)
* Experience with automation and robotics is a significant advantage
* Based in or open to relocating to South Lanarkshire, Scotland – relocation support available
