The Senior Compliance Monitoring Advisor is responsible for leading and delivering effective compliance monitoring reviews across the business, ensuring robust oversight of regulatory adherence. The role holder will provide assurance that regulatory risks are being managed effectively and will produce outputs that support regulatory confidence. The Advisor will contribute to the design, development, and execution of the Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP), mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support in the design and development of the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan
2. Conduct Monitoring Reviews and prepare Observations
3. Collaborate with and lead team members
4. Identify and manage risks
Qualifications:
* Experience working in a regulated environment
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements for consumer credit and payment services
* Experience assessing and reviewing risk controls
* Good knowledge of legislation and regulations
* Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Excellent communication, writing, and engagement skills
* Customer-focused with experience in customer journey design and assessment
* Strong analytical skills, pragmatic, systematic approach
* Ability to engage and negotiate with stakeholders
* Attention to detail
* Self-motivated and team-oriented
* Willingness to learn and develop personal knowledge
