Sanderson's Wynd is a vibrant and inclusive school community serving Tranent. The school has 12 mainstream classes, a 3-5 Nursery class, a 2-year-old room, and a Hub provision with 5 classes (2 Severe and Complex Needs, 3 ASD/Communication).

Job Details
The Depute Head Teacher assists and may deputise for the Head Teacher, managing school affairs to benefit pupils and the community, under the direction of East Lothian Council and the Head of Education.

Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications: Full GTCS Registration is required.
PVG Membership: This role involves working with vulnerable groups and requires PVG Scheme membership or update prior to employment, as per the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. If you have lived or worked outside the UK for over 3 months in the last 5 years, an overseas criminal record check is also required.
