£25,583 per year – £13.63 per hour plus 16% leave allowance added on, total £15.81
32.5 hours per week, term-time only

Hours are 8.40 am to 3.20 pm (half an hour unpaid lunch)
Contract: September 2026 till July 2027

OVERVIEW

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an ambitious good school, . We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, and caring Teaching Assistant to provide consistent 1:1 support for a Y3 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASC) who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The right candidate will be:

    Although the post is a 1:1 support position at times they may be required to work in any of our classes to support the education of individual pupils or groups of children.

    Applicants should be appropriately qualified and have relevant skills and experience.

    JOB PURPOSE

  • To work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under the direction/instruction of teaching and/or senior staff, inclusive of specific individual learning needs, enabling access to learning for all pupils and assistance and support in classroom management and behaviour techniques.
  • It is important that the appointed person complements our existing highly professional team.
  • Applicants should be appropriately qualified to Level 2 and have relevant skills and experience.

    • Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), plus two references, and right to work in the United Kingdom.
