Overview: Working within first class manufacturing facilities we now require a Sheet Metal Worker to join the day shift. You will be working for a well established precision engineering business that have sites across the UK. Key responsibilities of the Sheet Metal Worker role: · Includes bending, cutting, pressing, riveting, marking out, measuring, assembly, deburr, stretching and inspecting all to tight tolerances · Working to drawings, sketches and verbal instructions. · Setting and operating machinery supplied for the manufacture of sheet metal components. The ideal candidate / Sheet Metal Worker may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: Time Served Apprenticeship Previous experience working with thin gauge sheet metal Previous experience bending, cutting, pressing, riveting, marking out, measuring, assembly, deburr, stretching metals.Commutable from: Derby, Burton Upon Trent, Nottingham, Long Eaton, Sandiacre, Ilkeston and surrounding areas.
