Job Summary
Western Road Surgery is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. This is a new role for us and we look forward to building this with you. We hope this person will be central in both managing acute illness and moving to pro-actively look after our patients better. This role will be partly patient facing (face to face appointments), partly phone calls and partly behind the scenes work which could be carried out from home where agreed. We would consider an applicant who wanted to work between 3 and 5 days a week and build a role as appropriate.
Main duties of the job
This role will include diagnosis and management of acute conditions/ minor illness, and also chronic disease management to include Structured Medical reviews. We hope this person will work alongside our GPs to improve the long term wellness of our patients.

We're now the largest Practice in town (12,700 patients) and are eager to maintain our excellent reputation as we grow. Our team is made up of 6 GP Partners, Practice Nurses, Care-Co Ordinators and GP Assistants, as well as other Clinical Partners who work off site for Billericay PCN.
