CNC Programmer / Estimator Location: Corby Full-Time | Permanent Shifts: Week 1: 6:00am – 2:00pm | Week 2: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (rotating weekly) Salary: Competitive, based on experience The Opportunity A well-established manufacturing company is looking for a CNC Programmer / Estimator to join its growing team. This is a hands-on, dual-role position split between CNC programming/operation and office-based quoting. The CNC work is straightforward, and the estimating side is simple and fully trainable. If you’ve got experience reading engineering drawings and some background in CNC programming, this could be a great fit. Key Responsibilities * Program and operate both 3 & 4 axis CNC machines (using proprietary software) and a 3 axis VMC (using G-code). * Read and interpret technical drawings to create machining programs. * Prepare basic job quotes (full training provided). * Flex between machine shop duties and light office work. * Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail. What We're Looking For * Experience in CNC programming (any background considered). * Confident in reading and understanding engineering drawings. * Flexible attitude to working both on the shop floor and in the office. * Good computer skills and a hands-on, reliable approach. Desirable (But Not Required) * Familiarity with CNC machines like Emmegi, Elumatec, Mecal, or similar. * Experience with subplot-style CNC programming or standard G-code.
