Our client is on a mission to embed sport and active wellbeing at the heart of student experience which is underpinned by the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and integrity. That’s why they are looking for an individual to take on the pivotal role of Head of Governance and Integrity.
This is a unique opportunity to lead on both corporate and charity governance while also shaping the standards of sports governance and integrity across our client. This role will report to the Director of Business Operations, and you will serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, Board, and Company Secretary, ensuring our client operates with excellence, fairness, and accountability.
You will be strategically responsible for ensuring governance frameworks remain robust and compliant, while also championing sports integrity by building education, systems, and relationships that protect fair play across all of our client’s activities.
They are looking for an experienced governance and compliance professional, ideally with expertise in corporate/charity governance and sports governance. You will have the confidence to advise at senior levels, the leadership skills to manage projects and people, and the integrity to navigate complex compliance and ethical challenges.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on implementation ensuring not only that our client meets its legal and regulatory obligations, but also that its members, staff, and partners can have complete trust in the way they operate.
Responsibilities
Lead on governance for corporate and charity sectors and champion sports governance and integrity. Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, Board, and Company Secretary. Ensure governance frameworks remain robust and compliant. Build education, systems, and relationships that protect fair play across all activities. Manage projects and people with integrity and strategic focus.
Qualifications
* Experience in governance and compliance, with ideally expertise in corporate/charity governance and sports governance.
* Ability to advise at senior levels and influence strategic decisions.
* Leadership skills to manage projects and people and navigate complex compliance and ethical challenges.
