Social Chameleon is an independent, social-first agency founded in 2020. We’re a small but highly capable team delivering award-winning work for international clients across consumer tech, beauty, lifestyle and agriculture.
As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a Motion Graphics Designer to support the creation of high-impact, social-first motion content across multiple client accounts.
This role is ideal for a motion designer who understands how animation performs on social, can work quickly without sacrificing craft, and wants to sharpen their skills within a fast-paced agency environment.
The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Motion Graphics Designer to support the delivery of motion-led content across organic and paid social channels.
Reporting into the Creative team, you’ll help bring ideas to life through animation, video editing and motion design, working closely with social, strategy and account teams to deliver content that is platform-native, engaging and performance-driven.
This role suits someone with a strong creative eye, solid technical skills, and a clear understanding of how motion content performs across platforms like Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.
Key Responsibilities
Motion Content Delivery:
* Design and produce motion graphics for social-first content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and other relevant platforms
* Create short-form animations, transitions, titles and kinetic typography
* Edit and animate social video content, optimised for platform formats and best practice
* Ensure all motion content is on brand, visually polished and aligned with strategic objectives
* Adapt existing creative concepts into motion-led executions
Creative & Collaboration:
* Work closely with the Creative, Social and Account teams to deliver campaign and always-on content
* Support creative ideation and help elevate concepts through motion
* Respond to feedback efficiently and manage revisions within tight timelines
Performance & Optimisation:
* Apply a social-first mindset to motion design, understanding hooks, pacing and retention
* Support optimisation of motion content based on platform insights and performance data
* Stay up to date with motion, video and social trends
Team & Agency Support:
* Support wider creative projects as needed across client accounts
* Help maintain organised project files and version control
* Contribute to a collaborative, fast-moving agency environment
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
* 2-4 years’ experience in motion graphics, animation or video design (preference for agency experience here)
* Strong experience with After Effects and Premiere Pro (or equivalent)
* A strong understanding of social platforms and motion best practice
* Experience creating short-form, social-first motion content
* A good creative eye with attention to detail and pacing
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* Confidence working collaboratively and taking creative feedback
