Job Details
Shift Times: Monday - Friday. Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days in the office.
Pay Rate: £118.58 Day Rate
Location: Hinckley Point C, Bridgewater TA5 1UD
Role Overview
Assist the Communications Advisor and team in implementing communication tools to improve productivity and efficiency. Collaborate across functions to produce presentations, facilitate webinars, develop content, and organize corporate events.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate publications such as weekly highlights and quarterly newsletters.
* Manage content on intranet sites and social media channels.
* Engage with HPC and MEH partner communication representatives to share updates and news.
* Create and edit content for events and branding initiatives, ensuring it is engaging and on-brand.
* Manage media personnel for filming and photography on-site.
* Maintain distribution lists and communication inboxes.
* Respond to social media queries and update website content.
* Organize organizational events like Away Days, webinars, and briefings.
* Develop presentations for senior stakeholders.
* Handle quotes and purchase requisitions.
* Serve as deputy for the Communications Advisor as needed.
* Perform administrative tasks as assigned.
Key Deliverables
* Timely delivery of weekly highlights and newsletters.
* Contributions to The Point newspaper.
* Execution and evaluation of events, workshops, and webinars.
* Social media content development for recruitment and branding.
* Content management for the MEH Alliance website.
Qualifications & Experience
* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
* Graphic design portfolio across various media and initiatives.
* Experience in editing and proofreading.
* Excellent command of English language and grammar.
* Proficiency in Office365 (SharePoint, PowerPoint).
* Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
* Minimum NVQ Level 4 or relevant experience.
* Knowledge of Canva, WordPress, or Adobe Creative Suite (desirable).
* Experience in energy, construction, or manufacturing (desirable).
* Familiarity with social media platforms and digital tools.
