My client is a reputable Manufacturer in Middleton, who represent two brands. They are looking for a dedicated Accounts Clerk to join their busy accounts / finance department. This role is permanent 37.5 hours per week and is directly employed by my client.
Role Responsibilities:
* Responsible for wide a range of general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support functions under general supervision.
* Coding and posting cash receipts electronically while identifying trends in payment differences
* Code and process accounts payable for selected companies
* Monitor customer accounts for past-due payments including making business to business collection calls
* Month-end closing responsibilities
* Other duties as assigned
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in clerical accounting, high school diploma and have technology aptitude
* Associate degree in accounting or business, a plus
* Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and knowledge of accounting software, a plus
* Team-player with a strong sense of urgency
* Interpersonal and communication skills
* Problem-solving and attention to detail
