Duties
* Plan, coordinate, and execute cyclical maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems using established protocols and schematics.
* Supervise maintenance teams during routine inspections, repairs, and upgrades to ensure safety standards and operational efficiency are met.
* Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to monitor and troubleshoot automated systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Perform electrical work including wiring, circuit testing with ohmmeters, and troubleshooting electrical faults in accordance with safety regulations.
* Conduct welding repairs on structural components or equipment as needed to maintain integrity and safety.
* Read and interpret technical schematics, mechanical drawings, and system diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
* Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule upcoming tasks.
* Oversee facilities maintenance activities including residential painting, general repairs, and preventive measures to uphold building standards.
* Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance and reporting purposes.
* Lead efforts in continuous improvement initiatives related to facilities upkeep, safety procedures, and operational efficiency.
Skills
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, and facilities maintenance practices.
* Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) in automated environments.
* Electrical experience including wiring techniques, troubleshooting with ohmmeters, and understanding electrical codes.
* Skilled in welding techniques for structural or equipment repairs.
* Proficiency in reading technical schematics and mechanical drawings for accurate diagnostics.
* Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping.
* Excellent supervisory skills with leadership experience overseeing maintenance teams or contractors.
* Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly in English across diverse teams.
* Knowledge of manufacturing or residential building environments is advantageous.
* Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy equipment or working at heights safely.
