We are seeking a reliable and proactive Temporary 1st Line IT Support Technician to join our client’s team in Darlington. This role involves providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient resolution of IT issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to and resolve IT support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
* Assist with the setup and configuration of new devices and software.
* Escalate complex issues to 2nd Line Support or relevant teams.
* Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a 1st Line IT Support role or similar.
* Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Availability for the duration of the temporary contract
