Extension is subject to additional, external funding. About the Role Are you a confident communicator with a passion for helping people access the support they need? Bath & North East Somerset Council s Skills Connect team is looking for a Triage Officer to be the first point of contact for residents seeking employment support. You ll respond to phone and email enquiriesoften from individuals who are vulnerable, anxious, or facing barriers to employment or career progression. You ll also tirage incoming referrals to the team and help direct people to ensure they receive appropriate support. This role involves logging calls, maintaining accurate records, and working closely with council teams and partners to ensure people receive timely and compassionate support. You ll need strong IT skills, the ability to manage your own workload, and a flexible, team-oriented approach. Experience in customer service or Information, Advice and Guidance is desirable, along with an understanding of the challenges people face entering the job market.
