As the firm continues to grow, they are now seeking a capable Paralegal with residential conveyancing experience to join their friendly team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented paralegal to develop their conveyancing career within a supportive and professional environment. You’ll assist fee earners with a busy caseload of residential property transactions, providing essential administrative and legal support from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting fee earners with all aspects of residential conveyancing, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
* Preparing and drafting legal documents, correspondence, and completion statements.
* Conducting searches, reviewing results, and preparing reports.
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to progress matters efficiently.
* Opening and closing files, ensuring compliance with firm and regulatory procedures.
* Managing post-completion work, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records using the firm’s case management system.
About You
* At least 12 months’ experience working in a residential conveyancing department (essential).
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A proactive and professional approach with a genuine interest in property law.
* Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
* Experience using conveyancing case management software (desirable).
