Monarch Education is working with a primary school to recruit a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant. This role involves supporting children within the Early Years setting, helping with their development, learning and daily routines. You will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils at the start of their education and ensure they are engaged, supported and progressing in line with the EYFS framework. Key Responsibilities Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework Work with small groups and individual pupils Assist with the planning and delivery of activities Support early development in communication, language, literacy and numeracy Help manage classroom routines and transitions Support personal care and daily routines where required Observe and record pupil progress Create a safe, structured and engaging learning environment Work closely with teaching staff and other support staff Requirements Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent, Ofqual recognised) Experience working in an Early Years or nursery setting Good understanding of the EYFS framework Ability to support learning through play-based activities Reliable and able to work full time Please note: You must hold a recognised Early Years qualification.
